Our stay at Siete Lunas was beautiful and relaxing, with stunning ocean views and a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we especially enjoyed the amazing meals prepared by the chef. However, there were a few downsides like the noise from nearby parties and inconsistent access to amenities. Overall, it's a lovely retreat but may not provide the value for money depending on your expectations.

Rooms
10.0
The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a breathtaking ocean view. We really appreciated the sound of the ocean each morning.
Service
7.0
The service was friendly and welcoming, with helpful staff like Arturo making sure we settled in. Yet, the inconsistencies with accessing advertised amenities were a bit frustrating.
Location
6.0
The location was gorgeous with beautiful views, but we were disappointed to find it wasn't actually beachfront, and the noise from town was quite noticeable at night.
Dining
8.0
Dining was a highlight of our stay with the chef JJ creating delicious meals. However, we found meal prices a bit on the higher side compared to other places we've visited.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had a quaint and scenic pool area, although some facilities felt in need of maintenance.

5.4/10

The hotel offers stunning views and has a quaint ambiance, but it's far from town and the accommodations definitely need some TLC. The staff seems kind and earnest, but there were major issues with cleanliness and value for money. If you're looking for a secluded place with charm, you might enjoy it, but be prepared for some frustrating aspects.

Rooms
6.0
The palapa-style rooms have huge windows with amazing views, but they also allow bugs to come in and the upkeep is lacking. Our room had issues like a tough-to-open door and a missing lock on the balcony.
Service
7.0
The people running the place are genuinely nice, but the service was inconsistent. We received a meal comp as a gesture since the food was below par, which was appreciated. However, accessing advertised amenities was unpredictable.
Location
5.0
Situated up in the jungle, the view of the bay is beautiful, but prepare for a long walk to town. It felt quite remote, and the noise from town parties made it less secluded than expected.
Dining
5.0
The free continental breakfast was decent and the coffee was great, but we had a disappointing food experience otherwise. Prices for extras were much higher than average, which was frustrating.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area is scenic, but there are significant safety concerns with the railing, which needs urgent attention. Overall, facilities felt under-maintained.

My stay was filled with ups and downs. While I enjoyed the beautiful views and the cozy room, the arrival was quite a hassle due to the complicated access roads. The staff was not very accommodating when I raised my concerns about the location. The dining was good, but I felt the pool was rather small for the size of the hotel. Unfortunately, I won't be returning due to the frustrations regarding access and staff response.

Rooms

The room was charming and boasted a wonderful view, providing a cozy atmosphere despite the complicated access to the hotel.
Service
5.0
The service left much to be desired; the staff wasn't very understanding when I expressed my concerns.
Location
5.0
Access to the hotel was very difficult with uphill dirt roads and poor signage, especially at night.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was good and enjoyable, though it didn't quite compensate for the issues faced.
Facilities
5.0
The pool was quite small and not as inviting as I had hoped, given the overall hotel experience.

Siete Lunas feels like a hidden gem with stunning ocean views that truly make you feel like you're in paradise. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere throughout your stay. While the rooms are beautiful and spacious, some maintenance issues, like door malfunctions and minor leaks, do need attention. The food is absolutely delicious, thanks to a fantastic chef, but pricing for drinks could be more reasonable.
